UD:ID organizes, hosts and facilitates the Off-Centre Series. The series consists of gatherings between students and urban design professionals to talk about modes of practice and research that we may not be exposed to in our coursework. The series provides a space for people to speak candidly in an informal setting outside of the classroom, and to explore potential methods of urban design practice that are a bit “off-centre”.
Typically, each event features one set of practitioners (either an individual or a firm) and between 20-50 students. UD:ID helps to facilitate the conversation, and we encourage students and practitioners to bring questions and topics they would like to discuss.
